Well, almost anything really. Although there are a few exceptions in the interests of safety. Food or perishable items, living plants or living creatures may not be stored. Also, no flammable liquids, combustible materials, weapons, explosives (including fireworks), radioactive materials, toxic waste, chemicals, asbestos, biological agents or other dangerous substances We also ask that no odorous items, compressed gases or any illegal items be stored in our units. If you’re at all unsure about storing your items, please ask a member of our team. 

You can cancel your storage unit at any time just ring up or send us an email to let us know. We would prefer you to give us notice of your intent to cancel ahead of time, but if you need to cancel in a hurry for some reason, please ask our friendly team and we will accommodate your request as best we can. 

You alone have the key to your unit, so you have complete peace of mind that everything inside is kept completely secure.

Once you have paid for your unit you can have access straight away. Access hours for the site are 6.30am until 9pm seven days a week.
Very secure. Our entire site is monitored 24/7 by state-of-the-art CCTV security cameras and floodlit for your security. Every unit is individually locked with high security padlocks in toughened lock boxs. Only you have the key to your unit.
Yes. All goods stored in our units must be insured. We are happy for you to provide us with your insurance details which we will hold on file. Alternatively we would be delighted to provide you with insurance from our provider RSA. The cost is £2.00 per month for each £1000 of goods insured. Eg £4000 of goods in store will cost £8.00 per month.
If you order your goods before 4pm you can collect them the next day after 9am. All of your order is placed inside a secure locker at our storage site. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know your order is ready for collection and providing an access code that will allow you to call into our site at Lower Rose Lane Palgrave to collect your order.
We ask all our customers to bring their Drivers Licence and/or Passport and a recent (less than 3 months) home utility bill to confirm your identity and home address for our records.
Please also bring the credit or debit card you wish to pay for your storage with.
  • Always use good quality boxes
  • Always fill boxes to capacity to prevent boxes collapsing
  • Heavy items e.g. Books, and CD’s should be packed into small boxes, making them easier to lift and carry
  • Garden equipment should be cleaned before storing
  • Always load the heavy items first and put the lighter items on top
  • Never load heavy items onto soft furnishing
  • Always place protective coverings on all furniture
  • Always stack pictures and mirrors on their ends, never lay them flat
  • Dismantle any furniture where possible to maximise your loading space
  • Do not load wet/damp items
  • Do not load essential items, e.g. keys and passports

It is advisable to make an inventory and you will need to know which unit to request should you need to access anything. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need further advice.

Yes. Our minimum storage period is two weeks.

Unfortunately, we are unable to help with loading and unloading your items, however we are happy to provide advice on the best way to stack and store your items. Just ask our friendly team.

Our facility is modern and well-maintained to ensure that every unit offers the maximum possible protection against weather, damp, and pests. So you can be confident that your items will be kept in good condition.
We have premium units available which are insulated, have electricity and lighting as well as dehumidifiers to look after your most valuable items.

Yes, our on-site box shop holds a complete range of packing supplies including everything from boxes to bubble wrap. In short, all you’ll ever need to pack up and move your entire home or office.
